Israel is a Middle Eastern country and maintains a desert climate. During spring and summer months, temperatures can increase to 35-40 degrees Celsius. Between the months of November to March, cooler temperatures with some rain is to be expected.
We advise you to take cotton clothes in summer and woolen clothes in winter since the desert can drop to low temperatures at night. Bring soft walking shoes that have been worn before (brand new shoes may hurt your feet and lead to uncomfortable touring).
Please note that older cities contain many religious structures – conservative clothing (no shorts or tank tops) is appreciated when visiting these locations.
